説教あらすじ　　「神のみわざを見極める」　　(10/08/2025)

[ルカの福音書 １章１８～２５節]

◆不信仰な私たち

　　・天使のお告げを信じられなかったザカリヤは無理もないが、ガブリエルは「ザカリヤ、あなたの願いが聞き入れられたのです」と言っている。自分で祈っていたはずなのに、いざそれが叶った時に信じられないことがある。

　　・ところで、ザカリヤが「口をきけなくされた」のは、彼の不信仰のゆえの、神からの罰なのだろうか？

◆神の最善（１８節）

　　・この「話せない期間」、ザカリヤの内側でどんなことが起こっていただろう？SNSなど無い時代、彼のコミュニケーション能力は大幅に制限されたはず。恐らく彼は「神のことば」を読み、「悔い改めて神に祈る」時間をたくさん　　 取ったに違いない。その証拠に、１章の後半で子供が生まれ、ザカリヤの口が開かれた時に最初に出て来た言葉は「神への賛美と預言」であった！

　　・『神の最善』という時、私たちは「その時に自分に都合が良いこと」を考える。しかし私たちにとっての本当の意味での『神の最善』とは、「今よりもっと神を知り、神に近づくこと」ではないだろうか？ザカリヤとエリサベツの人生に起こったことは、後にマリアの信仰をも助けた。神は周囲の人々も含め「私たちの最善」を行う方なのだ！

今日の要点：　昨日よりも神に近づいているだろうか？

　①ザカリヤの立場に自分を置いてみましょう。あなたならどのような反応をすると思いますか？

　②「神は良いお方で、最善以外はなさらない」と言う時、それはどのようなことを含んでいると思いますか？

　③私たちが「神が私たちの周囲で行っているみわざ」を正しく見極めるために、どんなことに注意すべきですか？

[Luke 1：18~25]

◆We are of little faith.

　　・We can’t laugh at Zechariah for his “little faith”.  It is very common among us that even we pray for a while but   not ready for God answering it.  We are such “men of little faith”!  By the way, did God made him unable to speak as a punishment for his little faith?

◆God’s ultimate Best. （Verse１８）

　　・Imagine what had been happening in Zechariah’s mind while he was unable to speak.  There were no TV, SNS   so his communication skills were very limited.  Probably he spent lots of time reading Scriptures and prayer.   Sure enough, his first words when the baby was born were “praises and prophecies”！

　　・When we say, “God does His best to me”, most of time we are thinking of “something good for our sake at that   moment”.  In fact, “God’s real best” must be something which makes us “knowing God better and drawn to Him  closer” as a result.  So, God definitely did “His ultimate Best” to Zechariah’s life！

　　・Let’s ask God to open our eyes so that we can see “His ultimate Best” around us in our daily lives！

Today’s main point：   Have I drawn to God closer than yesterday?

　①If you were in Zechariah’s situation, what your response could be？

　②When we say, “God always does His best to us”, what are we really meaning？

　③How can we ascertain “God’s Work” around us correctly in our daily lives？
