[エペソ３：14-21]　＊この箇所から３回のシリーズで学ぶ

◆神から出た私たち [１４～１５節]

・神は私たちを『神のかたち』に創造し、「神の子（家族）」として「神との関係の中で」この地に満ちて行くことを望

まれた。しかし私たちが自分から神との関係を断ったので、私たちは『神のかたち』を失ったまま増え拡がった。

・神はキリストを通して私たちを『この世の王（サタン）』から取り戻し、本来の「父から出た者」へと再創造される。

◆『内なる人』 [１６～１７節前半]　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 [エペソ４：22-24]

・私たちは今、聖霊の働きによって、「父の豊かさ」に満ちた『内なる人（神の子らしさ）』を形造られている。この

『内なる人』は御霊によってのみ成長する。「私たちのガンバリ（外なる人）」はそれを妨げる。[Ⅱコリント４：16]

◆『外なる人』をどうするか？

・私たちの『外なる人（古い性質）』は「土の器」のようなもの。[Ⅱコリント４：7]　『内なる宝』の輝きが現されるため

には『外なる人』を磨いたり強めようとするのではなく、かえって「神にささげ」なければならない。

・この世は「急がせる」ことによって『外なる人』を誘惑する。しかし神は「信仰によって待つ」ことを求めている。

◆We are from God. [Verses 14-15]

・God created us “in His image” and desired us to fill the earth as ‘His children (family)’ in relationship with Him.

But we failed in keeping relationship with God and increased in number without ‘His image’.

・God is now trying to re-create us through Christ into ‘his likeness’ by the Holy Spirit. [Ephesians ４：22-24]

◆Our “Inner being” [Verses 16-17a]

・Our “Inner being” only grows by the Holy Spirit.  Power of our ‘flesh’ doesn’t help at all. [ⅡCorinthians ４：16]

◆What do we do our “Flesh”？

・Our “flesh” is like ‘a jar of clay’. [ⅡCorinthians ４：7]　 We have “beautiful treasure (inner being)” in it.  To let it

shine through us, we ‘surrender ourselves to God’ rather than strengthen outwardly.

・This world tempts us (our flesh) to “hurry”.  But God seeks those who “wait upon God by faith”.
