＊１１章までは、私たちの救いのために神がどれほどの憐れみを示されたのかが述べられている。

「そういうわけですから…」　（ギリシャ語原文では『お願いします』という語が文頭にある）

◆[１～２節]

・私たちの『からだ』をささげる。 ― 『思い』だけではなく、「日常の生き方・人生そのものをささげる」ということ。

・『神のみこころ』を知るために「自分を変える」 ＝ 人生の目的は『自己実現』ではない！

◆[３～８節]　　＊人生の目的は、「神との関係の中で、互いの益のために自分を用いていくこと」。

・私たちは、「互いにそれぞれのための器官」であり、「共にキリストのからだを建て上げるため」に存在する。

◆具体的な愛の行為 [９～２１節]

・[９節]悪を生理的に嫌う。　　・[１０節]競って尊敬し合う。　　・[１２節]試練の中で祈りによって支え合う。

・[１３節]自分の必要を訴える『謙遜さ』と、それに応える『積極性』。　・[１５節]「自分がどう感じるか?」ではなく…

・[１８節]相手の出方がどうであろうと、自分の側ではあらゆる努力を払う。

・[１９～２１節]「この世の常識や自分の性質」に逆らってでも、みことばに従うのが、真の信仰。

＊“Therefore” : Paul has been describing how much God showed His amazing mercy to save us.

◆[Verses 1-2]

・Offer our “bodies”. ― Not only our ‘thoughts’ but offer “our way of daily life (our life itself) ”!

・Be transformed to approve what God’s will is. ＝ Our life is not all about “ourselves”！

◆[Verses 3-8]　　＊Our life is “all about using ourselves for others in Christ”.

・We have different functions as parts of one body [Christ], and each member belongs to all the others.

◆Love in action. [Verses 9-21]

・[verse 9]Hate evil like a cockroach.　　・[verse 10]Be competitive in respect.　　・[verse 12]Be supportive by prayer.

・[verse 13]Be honest for your need and offer what you have. 　・[verse 15]Not based on how you feel…

・[verse 18]Make best effort despite others’ reaction.　・[verses 19-21]Faith puts God’s Word above circumstance.
