◆神を待ち望む [詩篇２７：14]　―　『待つこと』は、「弱い者のすること」ではない！

◎２通りの「待ち方」がある。

①人事を尽くして天命を待つ [イザヤ４０：28-31]

②悪あがきをせず、ひたすら待つ [詩篇３７：7]

・ただ「我慢する」だけではなく、神の前に安息する。[詩篇１３１：2-3]

・今日のポイントは、この②の方。「やがて来るべきもの」を信じて待つ。[詩篇１３０：6]

◆神の何を待つのか？

　　 ①みことば [詩篇１３０：5-6]　―　励まし，導き，知恵

・私たちの神は「語られる神」。[詩篇１１５：2-6]

・しかし、私たちの側が聞いていない！[エレミヤ７：13]

②救い [詩篇１３０：5-6]　―　具体的な助け

・「義なる神」による救い。[箴言２０：22]

・「慰め主」による救い。[詩篇４２：5]

◆「神を待ち望む」ことの実践

・１曲賛美した後、しばらくの間、各自静まって「神ご自身」を慕い求め、待ち望む。

◆Wait upon the LORD. [Psalm ２７：14]　―　It is not ‘passive’ to “be waiting”！

◎There are 2 ways to “wait”.

① Do what we can do, and wait. [Isaiah ４０：28-31]

② Just wait. [Psalm ３７：7]

・This is not all about “being patient” but ‘being in peace before God’. [Psalm１３１：2-3]

・Today’s point is No ②.  Waiting for something which is surely coming. [Psalm１３０：6]

◆What of God do we wait for？

　　 ① His Word. [Psalm１３０：5-6]　―　Word of encouragement, guidance, wisdom…

・Our God is God who “speaks to us”. [Psalm１１５：2-6]

・However, we usually do not pay attention to His voice！[Jeremiah ７：13]

② His help. [Psalm１３０：5-6]　―　Practical helps.

・Help from “righteous God”. [Proverbs ２０：22]

・Help from “God of compassion”. [Psalm ４２：5]

◆Let’s wait upon the LORD！

・Sing 1 worship song, then be still, seek His face and wait upon Him.
