[へブル人への手紙 ４章１～１３節]

◆神の安息 （１～３節前半）

　　・ここでは聖書の歴史に基づいて、３つの側面から「神の与える安息」について述べられている。

　　　　①天地創造における７日目の『安息』。これが安息日の起源になっている。

　　　　②出エジプトの民が「約束の地カナン」に辿り着くことによって得た『安息』。

　　　　③福音を信じる者が「神との平和」の中に招き入れられたことによる、永遠の『安息』。

　　・この手紙の著者は、この３つの『安息』はどれも「神のことばを堅く信じること」に深く関連があると言っている。

◆みことばへの応答 （１１～１３節）

　　・『神のことば』はいつでも「あやふや」ではなく「断言」。それ故聞く者たちは「決断・選択」を迫られる。そこに現れるのは私たちの「信仰による従順」、または「不信仰による不従順」。別の言い方で言うなら、「『神のことば』には力があり、人がそれを信じようと信じまいと『神が語られたこと』は成就する。しかし『神の祝福の約束』は、それを『信じている人』にしか成就しない」ということ。だからこそ著者は重ねて私たちを招く。[７節]

　　・神は全てをご存知で、しかも善意に満ちておられる。この方の語りかけに応じないことは愚かこの上ない！

　①今日の箇所には、どのような「神の３つの安息」について述べられていますか？確認してみましょう。

　②これら３つの『神の安息』の共通点は何ですか？ またそれはあなたの人生にも成就していますか？

　③「みことばに従ったゆえの祝福」「御声に対して頑なになってしまった失敗談」などがあれば分かち合いましょう。

[Hebrews ４:１～１３]

◆God’s rest. （Verses １～３a）

　　・The author of this letter talks about 3 historical events which describe “God’s rest”.

　　　　①7^th day after Creation.　　②Israelites entering to “Promised land”.　　③Our “Eternal rest” with God.

　　・And the author says that all these 3 become possible by “the obedience to the Word of God”.

◆Responding to His Word. （Verses １１～１３）

　　・All the Word of God would eventually be fulfilled whether we believe it or not because it is living and active. 

    However, “His promises of blessings” would only be fulfilled for those who believe.  That’s why this author

    invites us for “obedience”. [Verse７]  God does everything with full of power and love.  Nothing is difficult for

    Him.  It is ridiculous if we don’t listen to Him nor obey His Word！
