[へブル人への手紙 ７章１～１０節]

◆神からの祝福を受けたアブラハム

　　・７章では『メルキゼデク』という人物が「イエス・キリストの型」として描かれている。そして今日の箇所では、このメルキゼデクに「イスラエル民族の始祖であるアブラハムが１０分の１をささげた」ということに注目している。この事実にどんな意味があるのだろうか？[創世記１４：17-23]

　　・「１０分の１のささげ物」という概念はモーセ以降に定められた。しかしアブラハムは既にそれをささげ、『いと高き神の祭司』であるメルキゼデクから特別な祝福を受けている。この祝福はそれ以前にアブラハムが神から直接受けた祝福に呼応している。[創世記１２：1-3] ここに「祭司メルキゼデク」の特筆性がある。[１～３節]

◆アブラハムの信仰に倣う

　　・メルキゼデクは『義の王』であり、『平和の王』でもあった。この「義と平和」というのは、まさに私たちが主イエスを通して神から受ける『救い』の中心的な要素。彼はまさしく「イエス・キリストの型」であった。[ローマ５：１]

　　・私たちも『信仰の父・アブラハム』に倣い、①神からの祝福を受け、②個人的な信仰の応答として「１０分の１」をささげ、また神の祝福を更に多くの人々に受け継がせるために③神の示す地へと大胆に出て行こう！✰今週のチャレンジ： あなたは「神の祝福」にふさわしい『応答』をしていますか？

　①今日の箇所を見る限りでは、メルキゼデクはどのような点で「イエス・キリストの型」ということができますか？

　②あなたは今までにどのような『神の祝福』を受けましたか？ それに対しあなたはどのように『応答』しましたか？

　③『神の祝福』に対する「ふさわしい応答」とはどのようなものでしょう？ それはどんなことから分かりますか？

[Hebrews 7：1～10]

◆God blessed Abraham.

　　・Melchizedek is the main character in this chapter.  He is described as “a resemble of Christ”.  Abraham

    even gave him “One tenth” of everything.  What does this mean to us these days？[Genesis１４：17-23]

　　・God first mentioned “One tenth” through Moses but Abraham already gave it to Melchizedek a lot earlier

    than that.  He refused to receive other gifts from men but received a special blessing from Melchizedek just

    as he received from God Himself！  Here we can see the significance of Abraham’s faith. [Genesis１２：1-3]

◆Learn from Abraham’s faith.

　　・Melchizedek is “king of righteousness” and also “king of peace”(Verses 1-3).  “Righteousness & Peace” are

    core part of “our salvation” so he is really “a resemble of Christ”！[Romans　５：１]

　　・Let us learn from Abraham and ①Receive “Blessings from God”, ②Return “One tenth” to God by faith

    and ③Go wherever God shows us to share “His blessings”！

✰Challenge for this week： Are you “Responding” properly to “the Blessing from God”?

＊Today’s key words: “JUU BUN NO ICHI”(One tenth), “SHUKUFUKU”(Blessing), “OUTOU”(Response).

◎Questions to ponder on:

　①From today’s lesson what do you see Melchizedek as “a resemble of Christ”？

　②What kind of “Blessings” have you received from God？ And how did you respond to them？

　③What is “the proper response” toward “God’s blessings”？ How do we judge if it is proper or not？
