説教あらすじ 「イエスにつまずかないために」 (12/04/2026)
[ルカの福音書 ７章１８～２３節]
◆『つまずき』のメカニズム
・『つまずき』はどうして起こるのか？それは相手に対して「こんな人であって欲しい」という自己願望があるから。全く期待していない相手に対してなら、誰もつまずいたりはしない。
・当時のユダヤ人たちは、誰もが『ダビデ的ヒーローとしてのメシア』を期待していた。また律法学者たちは「自分たちこそイスラエルを代表する『神を敬う者』なのだから、もしイエスがメシアならば自分たちを重んじるはず」と考えていたので、自分たちと行動を共にしないイエスに「つまずいた」。
◆『イエス』の正しい理解
①神の顕現[コロサイ２：9] ・イエスは地上において「神のご性質・神の心・神の力」をことごとく表現された。
②人のあるべき姿の模範[ヨハネ１３：15] ・イエスは「人が本来あるべき姿」を表現し、私たちの模範となられた。
③私たちが神に近づく『道』となられた[ヨハネ１４：6] ・イエスは私たちを②のレベルに引き上げるために来られた。
・「つまずく」のは、その余地（距離）があるから。互いにつまずかない距離（密着）を保ち、「相手のどんな呆れたことを見てもつまずかない」という確固たる決断をもって、主イエスに、また人々に接して行こう！
今日の真理： イエスこそ、来たるべきお方

①誰かに「つまずいた」ことはありますか？ それは「相手に対するどんなイメージ」が原因だったと思いますか？
②どのような人々が、イエスに対して「つまずく」のだと思いますか？ また、どうしてそう思うのですか？
③自分が「イエスに」、また「他の誰かに」つまずかないようにするために、どんな心構えが必要でしょう？

[Luke ７：18~23]
◆How are we offended by someone?
・Why are we offended by others? It is mainly because we tend to have “selfish expectation” toward others like “I wish he/she wouldn’t be like that”. We are almost never offended by those who we have no expectation of.
・Many Jewish people were offended by Jesus because they had completely wrong expectation toward him. Teachers of laws were offended by Jesus very much for they believed that they were worthy to be respected.
◆Understand Jesus correctly!
①Manifestation of God. [Colossians ２：9] ・Jesus demonstrated God’s character, heart and power in many ways.
②Example of original “Man”. [John１３：15] ・Jesus displayed an example of “how we should really live”.
③“The way” to God. [John１４：6] ・Jesus made a way for us to reach God so that we can be “children of God”.
・We get offended because we are not close enough to that person. Draw near to Jesus or others and get better understanding about them so that there would be no room for “stumbling blocks” between you and them！
Today’s Truth： Jesus is “the One” to come.

②What type of people can be offended by Jesus？ Why do you think these people may be offended？
③How can you keep yourself from “being offended” by Jesus or others？
