説教あらすじ 「『愛すること』への招き」 (14/10/2012)
[ヨハネ13: 31-38]
◆イエスの「最後の教え」 大きく２つのポイントに分けられる。
①イエスが愛されたように、私たちも互いに愛し合う。 ②「もうひとりの助け主」 ＝ 聖霊
・この２つは、実は１つのことであって、「キリストに従う者の歩み」のカギであり、すべてである。すなわち…
「神は私たちが、キリストが愛されたように互いに愛し合うようになることを望んでおり、それは『私たちの自分
の力』ではなく、神のもとから遣わされる『聖霊の力』によってのみ可能である」 ということ。
◆「キリストが愛されたように」とは？
・「自分の努力や熱心によるのではなく、聖霊に全面的に頼ることによって」という意味。そのために私たちにできるたった１つのことは、「神は１００％善い方である」と信じて、自分の自由意志を、敢えてこの方に従わせること。[ルカ9:23-25]
「自分を捨てる」 ≠ 「自分を失う」
◆ペテロの失敗（私たちも陥りやすい） [３６～３８節]
・ペテロは「自分は誰よりも熱心だから、最後までイエスについて行ける」と自負していた。（「いのちを捨てる」と言って
いても、『自分』を捨てていない！） これに対しイエスは「聖霊なしには、ついて来られない」とおっしゃった。[３６節]
◆[３５節]
・これは「あなたがたの間の愛を見て､人々もキリストを信じるようになる」と言っているのではなく､人々が「彼ら
は単なる『いい人』なのではなく､『自分をキリストに従わせている人々なのだ』」と認めるようになるということ。
◆愛は地球を救う？[ローマ8:38-39]
・「人間愛」は決して地球を救えない。「キリストを通して現された不変の愛」が私たちから流れ出る時、人々は救いを見る。

[John 13: 31-38]
◆ Here Jesus started his 「Last Teaching」. There are 2 points in it.
① Love one another just as Jesus has loved us. ② Another Counselor ＝ the Holy Spirit.
・These 2 really give us an important key of Christian life which is… “Love one another just as Jesus has loved
us”; this becomes possible only when “We deny ourselves and totally rely on the power of the Holy Spirit”.
◆ How do we 「Love one another just as Jesus has loved us」？
・ It does not mean, “Imitate how Jesus treated people” but does mean 「not by our own zeal or effort, but by depending
on the Spirit of God」. There is only one thing we can do, which is : 「to believe that God is 100% good and submit our
free will to Him」. [Luke 9:23-25] * 「Deny himself」 ≠ 「Lose himself」
◆ Peter’s failure.（good example for us！） [Verses 36-38]
・Peter was self-confident that he would follow Jesus to the very end. (He thought he could lay down his life for
Jesus, but he had not denied himself yet！) However, Jesus knew that Peter could never follow him without
the Holy Spirit coming from the Father. [Verse ３６]
◆[Verse ３５]
・ It is not saying, 「People will believe in Jesus when they see this kind of love among us」. But they will
recognize us not just as 『good people』 but as 『those who submit ourselves to Christ』.
◆ Does “Love” save the world？[Romans 8:38-39]
・「Human love」 never saves the world. When people see 「Love of God in Christ Jesus」 through us, there is salvation.
