説教あらすじ　　　「イエスの名によって遣わされる」　　　(16/08/2026)

[ルカの福音書 ９章１～９節]

◆イエスは１２弟子を遣わされた（１～２節）

　　・ここまで弟子たちはいつもイエスと共に行動していたが、ついに「独り立ち?」する。この１２人は『使徒』と名付けられていた（６：13）。この語は当時のユダヤ社会において「全権使節」を表す言葉。彼らは「イエスのすべての権威」を委ねられ、すべてを『イエスの名』によって行った。（１０：17）

　　・使徒たちは『神の国』を宣べ伝えるために遣わされた。「悪霊を追い出したり、病人を癒すこと」は『神の国』の到来を裏付ける「しるし」（１１：20）。この地方を治めていたヘロデは、使徒たちが行っていたこれらの『しるし』の故にイエスに興味を持ったが、肝心の「イエスが誰であるか」ということを知ろうとはしなかった。（２３：8）

◆私たちも遣わされている！

　 ・私たちが心に刻むべきことは、「私たちも使徒たちと同様に『遣わされている』」ということ。何とイエスは「ご自身が遣わした者たち」と自分を同一視しておられる（１０：16）。私たちのような者にそれほどまでの信頼を置いておられる方に対して、私たちも「心からの信頼と忠実さ」をもって仕えて行こう。イエスはそのような私たちを通して喜んで「神の国のしるし」を現わしてくださるに違いない！

今日の真理：　イエスとの「信頼関係」がカギ

◎更に深い学びのために

　①１２弟子はどんなことのために遣わされましたか？ 彼らの活動のうわさを聞いて、ヘロデはどう思いましたか？

　②なぜ「私たちも遣わされている」と言えるのでしょう？ あなたは「どこに」「何のために」遣わされていますか？

　③「遣わされている者としての心構え」に関して、互いに分かち合ってみましょう。どんな新しい発見がありますか？

Outline of the sermon   “Being sent in Jesus’ name”   (16/08/2026)

[Luke 9：1~9]

◆Jesus sent his 12 disciples. （Verses １～２）

　　・These 12 disciples were named “apostles”（６：13） which meant “ambassador plenipotentiary” in Jews society.   So Jesus entrusted all his authority to them, and they fulfilled his will in “his name”（１０：17）.

　　・These apostles were sent to proclaim “the kingdom of God”.  “Casting out demons and healing the sick” are signs which show that “kingdom of God” is there（１１：20）.  Herod, the ruler of this region, was perplexed and interested in meeting Jesus.  However, he only wanted to see miracles but not to know “who Jesus is”.（２３：8）

◆We are also being sent by Jesus！

　 ・An important lesson we can learn here is: “we are being sent by Jesus just as apostles”.  Amazingly, Jesus identifies himself with those who he has sent！（１０：16）.  It is not because we deserve it but because he puts his trust in us.  How shall we respond to that？

　　・Let us engrave his heart in our mind, and walk every moment with asking, “Jesus, am I taking right path now?”

Today’s Truth： “Trust” between Jesus and us is the Key.

＊Today’s key words: “TSUKAWA SARERU”(Being sent), “TAISHI or SHISETSU”(Ambassador), “SHINRAI”(Trust).

◎Questions to ponder on:

　①What were 12 disciples sent for？  How did king Herod feel when he heard about what disciples were doing？

　②Why can we say that we were also being sent by Jesus？  Where and for what are you being sent？

　③What should our attitude as “an ambassador of Christ” be like？  Ask God for revelation.
