説教あらすじ 「イエスによる評価」 (19/04/2026)
[ルカの福音書 ７章２４～３５節]
◆バプテスマのヨハネに関して（２６～２７節）
・先週は「バプテスマのヨハネがイエスのことをどう考えていたか」を見たが、この箇所では「イエスがバプテスマのヨハネをどう評価していたか」が告げられている。ヨハネは「やがて起こるメシアの到来」を告げた他の預言者たちと違って、「今まさに来られたメシア」の道備えをし、そのメシアご自身と顔と顔とを合わせることを許された者として『預言者よりも優れた存在』というイエスの評価を得た。しかし、今日のポイントはそこではない！
◆神の子ら（私たち）に関して（２８節）
・「神の国の子ら（新しく生まれた私たち）」は、その「最も小さな者」であっても、このヨハネよりも偉大だとイエスは評価された。これは「どちらが偉いか」という問題ではなく、「委ねられたメッセージの大きさ」を指していると思われる。ヨハネは「救い主の到来」を告げたが、私たちは「救いそのもの」というメッセージを委ねられているのだ。
・[３３～３５節] ヨハネやイエスに対する態度が人々を２つに分けたように、私たちが語るメッセージも人々を２分する力を持っている。そのことを恐れてメッセージを歪めてしまいたくなる誘惑にかられるかもしれないが、「バプテスマのヨハネよりも偉大」という主イエスの評価に応えるためにも、福音の真理を真直ぐに伝えて行こう！
今日の真理： 『重大なメッセージ』を委ねられている

[Luke ７：24~35]
◆Valuation of John the Baptist. （Verses ２６～２７）
・We looked at “how John the Baptist was thinking about Jesus” last week. Today we are going to see “how Jesus was thinking about John”. And his evaluation of John was: “More than a prophet”. Why? Because other prophets only prophesied “the one to come”, but John actually declared “the one who has come”！
◆Valuation of us（children of God）. （Verse ２８）
・Jesus evaluated John as “the greatest among those born of women”, but evaluated us（born in the kingdom of God） as “greater than John”. In fact, this is not matter of “who is greater” but “who is entrusted ‘greater message’”. John declared, “the Savior is here”! We are supposed to declare, “the Salvation is here”！
・[Verses ３３～３５] Responses toward John the Baptist or Jesus divided people into two groups. In the same way, our message has power to divide people around us into two groups. We may be afraid of that and tempted to modify our message softer. So, stand firm and preach pure truth in the response of Jesus’ valuation！
Today’s Truth： We have “serious message” to share.
