説教あらすじ 「常識vsイエスのことば」 (09/08/2026)
[ルカの福音書 ８章４９～５６節]
◆『信仰』は「常識を超えたところ」にある（４９～５０節）
・家からの使いのこの言葉を聞いた時のヤイロの気持ちは？「現実に押しつぶされそう」「誰かを責めたくなる」。どちらにしても、もはや人間的にできることは何もない。今こそ『信仰』を働かせる時！
・私たちの「常識」は「目に見える世界」に基づいているが、『イエスの言葉』は「見えない世界」に働きかける。
◆「眠り」と『死』（５２節）
・イエスにとっての「眠りと死」の概念と、私たちにとってのそれとは、次元が違う。イエスはしばしば肉体的には目覚めている弟子たちに「目を覚ましていなさい」とおっしゃった。[マルコ１３：33] またパウロはイエスと出会う前の私たちを「死んでいた者」と言っている。[エペソ２：1-2]
・私たちにとって、『眠り』は「肉体と意識の休息」だが、『死』は「肉体や意識の営みの終息（人生の終わり）」を意味する。しかしイエスにとっては「肉体の死」は『眠り』に過ぎず、『死』とは「肉体的には生きていても霊が機能せず神との交わりが絶たれている状態」を指す。すなわち、ここで「死んでいる」のは、少女ではなく周囲の人々。
・イエスの声は見えない世界に働きかけ、少女の霊に届いた。私たちもこの使命に召されている。[エペソ６：12]
今日の真理： イエスは「見えない現実」に働きかける
◎更に深い学びのために
①娘の死を知らされたヤイロの心境を想像してみましょう。彼はどうしてそのように感じたと思いますか？
②そんなヤイロにイエスは「恐れず、ただ信じなさい」と言われました。何をどう信じろということなのでしょうか？
③「目に見える常識」に根差して生きることと、『イエスの言葉』に信頼して生きることは、どのように違いますか？
Outline of the sermon “Common sense VS Word of Jesus.” (09/08/2026)
[Luke ８：49~56]
◆“Faith” is above ‘Common sense’.（Verses ４９～５０）
・Jairus must have lost his hope when he heard about his daughter’s death. Now is the time for “Faith”！ Our “Common sense” is only about the world we can see, but “Word of Jesus” works on the world we cannot see.
◆“Sleep” and “Death”.（Verse ５２）
・Concept of “Sleep and Death” are completely different between Jesus and us. Jesus told his disciples to “be awake” when they were physically awake.[Mark１３：33] Or Paul describes us before believing Christ, “dead”.[Ephesians ２：1-2]
・For us, “Sleep” means ‘resting physically and consciously’, but “Death” means ‘End of life”. Yet for Jesus, “Physical death” is just “Sleep”, but “we’re dead’ without relationship with God even though we are physically alive.
・“Word of Jesus” reached to this girl’s spirit and called her back to life. He works on the world over death. And to our surprise, we are also called to work on the world we cannot see with our physical eyes！[Ephesians ６：12]
So stay awake by “prayer and God’s Word”, and wrestle against rulers of darkness to win our fight for God’s sake！

①Imagine how Jairus felt when he heard his daughter’s death. Why do you think he felt that way？
②Jesus told Jairus not to fear but believe. What did Jesus really mean？
③What is the difference between “rely on common sense” and “believe in the word of God”？
