説教あらすじ　　「アブラハムが見ていたもの」　　(04/02/2024)

[へブル人への手紙 １１章１７～１９節]

◆神は約束を守る方

　・アブラハムは「信仰によって」、子孫が増え広がるという神の約束の成就を待ち続け、百歳になった時にようやく「ひとり子イサク」が与えられた。これだけでも驚くべき信仰だが、神は彼を更なる信仰の深みへ招こうと、「次なる試練」を用意しておられた。[創世記２２：1-2]

　・思わずも「危機違いでは？」と疑ってしまうような命令。しかしアブラハムはこれに黙々と従った。何故？恐らく彼は「神は真実であり、ご自分の約束を必ず守る方。ご自身に『約束破り』などという汚名を決して着せることはな  い」と信じたに違いない。そして神は見事に、彼のそんな信仰にお答えになった。

◆「人類の贖いの日」を垣間見たアブラハム

　・アブラハムが味わった「神ご自身の啓示」は、それだけではない！[ヨハネ８：56] ここで主イエスは一体アブラハムが何を見たと言っているのだろうか？そのカギはアブラハムとイサクとの会話の中にある。[創世記２２：6-8]

　・もちろんここでアブラハムが指しているのは単に「別の全焼のささげ物」ということだろうが、主イエスは、アブラハムは啓示によって「遠い将来に同様にささげられるであろう『永遠のささげ物』をも見ていた」というのである！

　・神は、ご自分に全身全霊をもって信頼する者に、「通常人には知り得ないような奥義」を啓示してくださる。このような『神との親密な関係』を求めて、この新しい年も心を尽くして主を求めて行こう！⇒ 〈Ⅰコリント２：9〉

◎更に深い学びのために

　①この「アブラハムがひとり子をささげようとした記事」を初めて読んだ時、どう感じましたか？

　②神はアブラハムに、何故このような命令を与えたのだと思いますか？

　③神がこの時のアブラハムに、また今日の私たちに求めておられるものは何でしょう？

[Hebrews 11：17～19]

◆God never fails to keep His promise.

　・We are amazed of Abraham’s faith waited for 25 years until he became 100 years old to see God fulfilled His

  promise.  But God was expecting even bigger faith to him and tested him. [Genesis ２２：1-2]

　・It sounds totally unbelievable！ Yet Abraham faithfully obeyed what God said to him.  Why？ Probably

  Abraham believed that God would never fail to keep His promise and He would have a very special plan to

  compensate for this contradiction.  And, yes, God had answered the faith of Abraham as such！

◆Abraham has seen something significant by faith.

　・According to Jesus, Abraham seemed to experience something significant at this moment. [John ８：56]　What

  did Abraham see？ We can predict what it was through the conversation between Abraham and his only son,

  Issac. [Genesis ２２：6-8]　Here Abraham might be literally talking about “another burnt offering” for Issac.  But

  Jesus is sure that Abraham saw “eternal sacrifice only God can prepare” as revelation by the Spirit！

　・God is ready to reveal His mystery to those who wholeheartedly seek Him.  Let us seek “intimacy with God”

  like this so that the special plan of God will be fulfilled through us this year！⇒ 〈ⅠCorinthians ２：9〉

　①How did you feel when you came across the article of “Abraham offering Issac” for the first time？

　②Why do you think God required Abraham to offer his only son, Issac, to Him？

　③What is God expecting Abraham, all His people and us to offer？  Are you ready to answer His expectation？
