説教あらすじ　　　「あなたの『信仰』はどこに？」　　　(12/07/2026)

[ルカの福音書 ８章２２～２５節]

◆何が起こっているのか？

　・通常この箇所で私たちは「自然界さえも従える権威を持つイエス」にスポットを当てて考える。しかしこの箇所でそれ以上に注目すべきは、イエスの２つの言葉（「向こう岸へ渡ろう」と「あなたがたの信仰はどこにあるのか」）である。嵐に翻弄されていた弟子たちが慌てて「眠っていたイエス」を起こしたのは、イエスが嵐を治めてくれるのを期待したというよりは、「何をのんきに寝てるんですか！」という感じ。（マルコ４：37-38） しかし実際『眠っていた』のは「イエスご自身」ではなく、「弟子たちの信仰」だった。

◆『信仰』はどこにあるのか？

　・私たちが日常生活の中で頼りにしがちなのは、①自分の考え ②周囲からの情報 ③気分 などであるが、これらはどれも移ろいやすい。絶対的な信頼を置くには、あまりにも危険すぎる。

　・では私たちは人生の拠り所をどこに置けば良いのだろう？それは「永遠不変のもの」、すなわち『神のことば』。（Ⅰペテロ１：23-25） ではこの場面で弟子たちは何を信じているべきだったのか？それはイエスの「向こう岸へ渡ろう」という言葉であった。預言者イザヤはこう預言した。（イザヤ５５：8-11） あなたの信仰はどこにありますか？

今日の真理：　永遠不変の『神のことば』に信仰を置く

◎更に深い学びのために

　①主イエスはこんな嵐の中で、どうして眠っていられたのだと思いますか？

　②あなたは日常生活において大切な判断を下す時に、どんなものを判断基準として頼りにしていますか？

　③純粋に『神のことば』を自分の判断基準と定めるため、あなたが明け渡さなければならないものは何ですか？

[Luke ８：22~25]

◆What’s happening here？

　・In this paragraph we usually take notice of Jesus authority over nature.  Yes, it is great!  But more important

  thing here is what he said rather than what did. (“Let’s go to the other side” and “Where is your faith?”)

　・Why do you think disciples woke Jesus up?  Did they expect Jesus calm the storm?  No!  They were frustrated

  of Jesus sleeping while they were in danger! （Mark ４：37-38）  Actually, it was “their faith” sleeping!

◆Where is “our faith” supposed to be？

　・We usually put our trust on: ①Own idea or experience. ②Available information. ③Own observation or feeling.

　 These are all changeable and too dangerous to put our trust.  Then what can we trust？  It must be something

  unchangeable.  Yes, it is “Word of God”！（ⅠPeter１：23-25）

　・What are disciples supposed to trust here?  They should trust what Jesus said, “Let’s go across to the other side”.

  If Jesus, Son of God, said something, that “Word” always achieve its purpose.（Isaiah ５５：8-11）  So, just believe it！

Today’s Truth： Put your faith on “God’s Words” which stand forever.

　②What do you usually put your trust when you have to make major decisions in your life？

　③What hinders you from trusting completely on “God’s Words”？
